I've not head the snippets but i feel like these are going to be more traditional Weeknd Songs that we're used to.
am i right?
Do you think his record label saw the rumors about the red and blue concept and told him yo release a few more tracks due to the hype or did he always plan this

The Instagram videos imply that this was already in the pipe works. I think the Blue theory craze + corona got him twiddling his thumbs so he thought ‘fuck it let’s release’
Faith is just getting better and better with each day...
one of the best songs i’ve ever heard in my life
why not just package them as the second part of My Dear Melancholy? Not a fan of these huge messy deluxe versions and s***

Why would he package new songs as part of an EP that came out 2 years ago?

because they aren't part of another EP/album
it's pretty clear that they're still associated with the vibe of After Hours, just more material.

Cus we were originally supposed to get a followup. Why would he release 8 new bonuses for an album? That’s another half of an album lol

Sure but a lot of MDM sounds like After Hours too. Odd in retrospect for him to do the whole emphasis with the comma during/after the release and then we never get any followup

I liked a lot of them, and they each kept with the 80s cinematic vibe, although they were more overt. SNL live was a nice touch. The OG After Hours is still there. It isn't going away.
