Alone Again, Heartless bridge, Scared To Live, parts of Faith, Nothing Compares, After Hours, Until I Bleed Out?

People really complaining about the new tracks? lol , i think they were some of the best on this tape, idk why he didnt release them on the og album.

IMO the best about the weeknd is the production combined with his voice.

I love plenty of the tracks on after hours but what i miss about the weeknd's sound is that rawness and originality he used to bring to the table. Scary ass instrumentals but sexy at the same time with heartbreaking vocals lol, gives me chills thinking about it.

I think he sounds pretty "soft" in this album, like everything is so smooth and cool but he used to go from smooth to crazy hard, feel me?. The craziest track on after hours is vanilla compared to any of of his other hard tracks (like kissland track for example).

I agree with this to an extent. I do miss that rawness that he used to have on previous work, but I think he’s matured as an artist. He’s still staying creative with his work and trying to still connect with his OG fan base. I’m sure he gets some sort of pressure from the label to get some hits on the album.

No doubt. Few gems like Tell Your Friends, Often, and the Hills though

that flawless 3 track run you mentioned unfortunately doesn’t save the album for me, but god damn those 3 songs slap

How do you feel about After Hours?

if you remove scared to live it’s 10/10 tbh, since release i have been playing it from start to finish multiple times a day, a great return to form for abel. the bonus tracks also f***in slap, nothing compares my favorite on the album followed by faith.

hardest to love in my top 5 man yeah the production is phenomenal, i think a big thing about what makes this album so good is not only is the music cohesive the narrative is also, which is something the last couple albums lacked.

Yeah man, it’s crazy. You know the album is amazing when people’s least favorite song is other people’s top song.
