faith outro still giving me goosebumps
I’ll never understand this
Or when people love Loft music outro
It drags way too long and isn’t anything special fr in my opinion at least

loft music for example reminds me much of a pink floyd record where the longer a segment of a song will drag on is the more it builds its character. The wavering bass and Abels echo-y cry towards the end of Loft Music makes the tape as a whole that much more "dark" if you will. Makes the vibe he is trying to create more solid

In Your Eyes getting a proper push?
Kinda pointless until lockdown starts to come out tbh
With all the chart drama, bullshit and controversies in the music industry, just remember
After Hours - critically acclaimed and commercially successful Album Of The Year out now on all streaming platforms
Kinda pointless until lockdown starts to come out tbh
Well lockdowns are starting to ease up so it’s the right time
The Weeknd - Old News ft. Belly (2017) leaked you know where
I‘m lost - where?
Underrated is an understatement
They tryna test greatness
A nigga tryna get paid
These niggas fiends watching all of my moves
Cause the music like crack, got me cookin all day
I think part of what makes the Faith outro so great is because it's the perfect contrast to what the first half of Faith is.
You got this first half which is basically a f***ing bender the entire time, with no real care in the world if that makes sense? It's really Abel saying "fuck it lets get high and go wild." There's this complex production that's loud and heavy, and feels very fast paced. His vocal delivery in the verses + prechorus is also pretty quick which to me adds to this fast paced feeling.
Then you got the bridge which starts to contrast in the production, things start to get stripped down. Lyrically Abel starts to self reflect on how he really feels about the trajectory of where his life has gone.
Which brings us to the outro which literally gets stripped down to nothing - just a police siren and a synth that kinda just rises out of nowhere. Abel's tone on this part of the song is much more somber, and his delivery of the words are much more drawn out which creates such a gloomy and dark picture. It's also the consequences Abel is facing for whatever it is he did in the first half of the song, whether it be him getting arrested and thrown in a cop car or him OD'ing and winding up in an ambulance; it feels very self reflective and apologetic.
The outro itself builds and gets louder along the way which to me feels like Abel is really starting to come back into focus and he's starting to see the consequences of his actions.
tl;dr faith outro is great because it's the exact opposite of the first half of the song
