It’s a watered down version of the Loft Music outro, doesn’t add anything to the track

It adds SO much to the track. The outro to Faith is supposed to represent the repercussions of the bender he's describing in the first half of the song. Musically it's a complete contrast to the fast paced-ness of the first half, as well as lyrically.

Also serves as a great prelude to Blinding Lights, which is completely enhanced by Faith (especially the outro) since it gives a whole new meaning to what those blinding lights actually are.
