Republic doesn't control Abel's creative process

BBTM was made after abel scrapped a whole album with doc and listened to his label

no lol, BBTM was made after he scrapped the 'nirvana' album and republic discussed with him what he wanted. he said he wanted to be the biggest he can be so he made an album with around 5 pop songs

im still amazed at how some of y'all label bbtm as a pop album.

They may not necessarily control his creative process but obviously he has it subconsciously in the back of his mind that he has to cater to the fact that he's one of the biggest acts on the label and has to make accessible music that will sell,something the label would want him to do even if they may not directly tell him to

I think he did it perfectly with After Hours and MDM

Someone who's good at making mashups should do a mashup of Heartless and No Limit
