Do you think that charisma plays a big role for an artist?
Personally I can't listen to artists that have no charisma/personality, their music sounds bland af to me
This IS NOT an extrovert vs introvert discussion, they can be introverted and charismatic at same time.
Ice Spice the perfect example. Labels were trying so hard to create the next Nicki and Ice just came out with a completely natural charisma and took over the game

correct
Just make good music man
I think it’s genuinely harder to make good music if you aren’t charismatic tho.
Especially in a genre like rap, how funny you are and how much you can sell certain lines really can make or break a verse
they dont have to be charismatic IRL but charismatic in their music/delivery can be big factor imo
You just got no sauce lol
It's true. Gunna is proof there is no bar to anything. He's got some solid flows and and was a meme years ago and is skating by on headlines and complacent fans. The definition of mediocrity.
Name some example of artists u don't fw then op
Nah, I don't want to ignite stan wars itt
There are a lot of narcissistic artists, and narcissistic people are often seen as charismatic. A lot of the things that narcissists do to seem charming to people are also things that artists have to do for development. They're taking care of their appearance diligently. They're trying to make fans feel special. They're calculating their statements and responses to things to make you think they're a certain type of person.
There are very few "organic" artists because there's too much money involved. Anyone who wants to just be themselves is a liability, and that's usually reflected in their contracts.
