Kanye was telling Beck to "Respect artistry!" And give his Grammy to Beyonce, and while yes Beyonce likely should've gotten that Grammy, she didn't. And Kanye should've taken that up with the Grammy committee. Not Beck. Especially since Beck's album that won that album was pretty damn good. You can't say "Respect artistry!" and then disrespect an artist who had absolutely nothing to do with being given an award. All they did was just make music.

As for the David Crosby thing, dude is just a massive hater and probably expresses those kinda feelings towards most rappers and hip-hop as a genre in general.
