    Cole is cool but non-essential.

    Drake has far more commercial success and hits than him.

    Kendrick does conscious rap with far more artistry and creativity with critical acclaim.

    Future has more hits and influence than him.

    Nicki revived female rap and has more influence.

    Dude's just a conscious version of Big Sean too me: Dope rapper but totally non-essential.

    FHD will always hold a place in my heart though.

    But they're not in the same lane.

    Kendrick is one of the last mainstream rappers since Kanye to be commercially successful and be an elite level artist at the same time.

    Cole is just a above average lyricist. Nothing more nothing less. Nothing really stands out with him like drake and Kendrick. Felt like people put him up there just because there wasn’t anyone else after big Sean flopped. Imo the top 3 of 2010s should be drake Kendrick and future

    I honestly don't get how Cole isn't up there with them when Drake has more duds in his discog than him?

    Because if you combine Drake best songs and feats you have like at least 70+ amazing song, Drake has his own style, influenced a lot of rappers and had an historic run. NWTS and IYRTITL are better than any Cole project too

    It tools views and his albums after that to make a lot of YALL appreciate TC, IYRTITL, and NWTS more

    As some albums become classic in retrospect. None of Drake albums were universally instant classics

    IYRTITL was universally praised when it dropped
