Charleston got out of jail thanks to a CO who vouched for him and he helped write a bill that doesn’t allow Texas to give juveniles a life sentence (think of Tay K)
He runs youth outreach programs in DFW and is a known activist in the area

I do agree with his stance against Black on Black violence and how it brings upon so much unnecessary stress.
With that being said he is VERY ignornant on a variety of topics and that seems to be his appeal.
