i think she would want to get out of this s*** label deal she is apart of
imagine being label thinking she was winner in 2014 with how big some of her singles were and then seeing she did vroom vroom
when i was getting into charli i was so f***en surprised to see she became this anti pop star of some sort
its like she still very connected to the industry but not relevant in mainstream sense

It’s a route I wish more artists went. Like some artists make dope ass / unique experimental s*** when they’re coming up then sell out and never go back. But charli was positioned for stardom and went “underground”

if you re watch a lot her stuff from 2016 - 2017 it felt very manufactured it was like her label told her to say certain things and forced onto shows she didn't want to be apart of like + she seemed very upset how XCX3 leaked and her label wouldn't release it unless it had single (lucky 1999 was decently popular)
It's only felt in last 12 months she really found her footing in the industry as her and label has fully embraced the more experimental side of pop instead of romanticising both sides where it felt like she had to do both (which led to some odd results for her).
PC music in essence is deconstruction of pop to its very core, so its sorta as pop as it can get even tho its experimental music if you know i mean
