yes. i get what she's saying. there's a recent interview or something where ag cook stated that sophie's plan moving forward was to make monophonic // monolithic music. instead of using chords or a wide range of notes, it would just be created using single notes / elements.

the only issue is that charli xcx did not make a good song and missed the landing lol
