I don't hate Future lmao, he's one of the GOATs and most influential of all time but I'd associate his very best work with the 2010s where I think he belongs in that debate for best artist. I just don't think he's created anything worth praising this decade. It's all just been okay imo. Nothing wrong with that, but imo he's been extremely mid 2020-present

Future is great but he's not really in the debate for 2020s imo. He's on hip-hop's mt Rushmore for the 2010s 1000%. Unless you're a Future stan, looking at his work from a neutral standpoint, he's been mid this decade

tbf i do really like We Don't Trust You, We Still Don't Trust You, and especially MIXTAPE PLUTO. That s*** bangs start to finish. I NEVER LIKED YOU is also dope. I wouldn't call it mid myself, good run but not like GOAT s*** like his previous runs. He's one of the most consistent rappers imo

Yeah that's fine. And I wouldn't fault anybody for at least enjoying his new stuff to a certain extent. The quality is clearly not on that super high level anymore and I'd also argue even the new, good stuff also fades quicker because the overall product is not as high anymore.
I did like the first Metro collab but that's about it for me from him this decade

Nah that one was okay. I don't wanna get it twisted I never called him trash just mid overall this decade. There's too much music to keep track of. Future hasn't moved the needle this decade for me personally. Only one I haven't listened to is the newest album but the reception hasn't excited me to press play

I never liked Cole or Drake honestly man I've been hating on both of them since high school in 2011-2013. Cole bores me to death and Drake is one of the most obnoxious and juvenile lyricists ever. Hate his voice as well.

My 2010s Rushmore would probably be Thugger, Future, Danny Brown and either Earl, Dot, Ye, or Lupe for the last spot. (Maybe not lupe, he released some stinkers but T&Y and Drogas WAVE are so incredible that i kinda forgive him).
