chelsea are nicely positioned to take the league this year, we have depth that we can use finally - look at liverpool, half the squad is injured and they lack depth as a title winning side - frank very importantly actually lets the youth system aid the first team so i'm feeling hopeful this season

Hes gonna win the league. trust me

I think y鈥檃ll will keep lamps. But I鈥檇 go neither. Allegri. Proven winner. 2 ucl finals. Lost but still made it there.

I stopped interacting with Chelsea fans online in the past year because almost everyone seemed delusionally optimistic about Lampard's managerial capabilities.

So this news comes as a huge SHOCK. I had no idea he was close to being sacked. I always thought he'd at least be given until the end of the season.

Anyways, good riddance. This season is already a wash, need to focus on the right hire for next season and ironing out the current team

tuchel is probably with nagelsmann the best coach we could get. I can see werner and havertz playing good again

A mid coach ended 4th with a below average team. When Chelsea was down he was there, on the field and off as a coach. Now he has a new squad and doesn't even get a year to build his team. This is bullshit rhetoric. I hope they f*** up even more, Abramovich is a s***head.

This is the defensiveness towards Frank I'm talking about

This is why I never wanted him hired in the first place. People would be all too willing to overlook his mistakes in a way they never did for other managers.

He's always been MID af, he showed that at Derby and then at our preseason. There was a lucky run that first season but we were soon bad and struggling to secure a Top 4 finish where we had a 12-point lead at some point. The way s*** fell apart so quickly in the last few games was the ample proof this nigga sucked and needed to be let go. I'm surprised Roman gave him the boot so early though.

Nagelsmann is ideal but will be tough to acquire. I also like Rose. Tuchel is fine but I'm not that excited about him.

Why are we acting like last PL season wasn't the weakest PL season ever

We lost 12 whole ass games, ended with 66 points, and needed a monstrous Leicester choke to get into CL

Lampard was not given time to build his team cause he isn't the man for the job

The only reason he was hired was because of the transfer ban That is ALL he offered to the team. He was the only man available that would have played the youth where no other manager would have because of necessity, because we didn't have the bodies to fill a team without those loanees.

Now that his first season is done, let's take a look at those players he gave opportunities to. How have Reece James, Mason Mount, Abraham, and CHO improved under his tutelage? They absolutely haven't. Another manager would likely get more out of them and their talents

You sound like those fans that would have been happy to have him here for 3 years, wasting away countless young players' primes as long as he fist pumped and chanted at the crowd after a random 3-1 win over a relegation team

    FRANK. LAMPARD. IS. MID.

Even if the fortunes of this team don't turn around in a season or two, at least we know we would have been worse off with him still around.

I would like to be happy to have a man of the club in charge for a longer period of time. So far that works pretty fine at Bayern and Ajax and a good time at Barca. Hell even Ole has been written off a billion times and where is United now? Instead of being a club which has an average of 2 managers per season because the owner thinks he knows s***.

Your last sentence doesnt make any sense whatsoever.
