I stopped interacting with Chelsea fans online in the past year because almost everyone seemed delusionally optimistic about Lampard's managerial capabilities.

So this news comes as a huge SHOCK. I had no idea he was close to being sacked. I always thought he'd at least be given until the end of the season.

He's always been MID af, he showed that at Derby and then at our preseason. There was a lucky run that first season but we were soon bad and struggling to secure a Top 4 finish where we had a 12-point lead at some point. The way s*** fell apart so quickly in the last few games was the ample proof this nigga sucked and needed to be let go. I'm surprised Roman gave him the boot so early though.

Nagelsmann is ideal but will be tough to acquire. I also like Rose. Tuchel is fine but I'm not that excited about him.

The only reason he was hired was because of the transfer ban That is ALL he offered to the team. He was the only man available that would have played the youth where no other manager would have because of necessity, because we didn't have the bodies to fill a team without those loanees.

Now that his first season is done, let's take a look at those players he gave opportunities to. How have Reece James, Mason Mount, Abraham, and CHO improved under his tutelage? They absolutely haven't. Another manager would likely get more out of them and their talents
