Pilot def in my top 5 tyler, that's one of the tracks where the s***ty mixing is actually perfect

i dunno wat this means. i can't imagine the album where songs like cherry bomb have super center forward vocals and where the sounds r easily separable

the mushyness on songs like that 1 makes it sound convincingly chaotic to me, i dunno if the same impression would be made w/ cleaner mixing

I’ve come around to this album more over the years but I don’t care what y’all say, the mix is still weird lol like some of the records had no business being mixed the way they were imo but he’s the artist and his vision is his vision so I respect it but man I would love a version of this some day that is just mixed to perfection sonically. The album is harsh in spots where sonically it feels like it should be sweet. I remember listening to it for the first time and being so frustrated by how some of Tyler’s vocals felt almost muffled in noise

The mixing on this s*** really isn’t bad, the first half is just a bit distorted but people act like the whole album is impossible to hear
