I liked this, Kelvin Harrison jr killed it
Really just wish there was more going on story wise, once it started to build up it was damn near over
It also was majorly a romance drama, was hoping the music would play a bigger part. Whenever there were musical moments like the opening, it was fantastic

Honestly, going in I thought this was mostly going to be musical drama but it turned out to be a romantic drama. Still I like romance movies and thought this was good. I was engaged the whole time but I like period pieces there’s something cozy to me about simpler times before technology.

Acting was great especially by Kelvin, looking up what movies he has lined up he’s about to be a big name.

Only thing to me was that the 3rd act felt tacked on. Sure they hinted about a revolution through out with Joseph’s friend bringing it up consistently and I’m not sure it’s what actually happened being arrested on stage but I felt like it wasn’t the story they were telling and felt like they added it for a more exciting ending. If this was a movie about the encompassment Joseph’s whole life I can see it fitting in but the movie to me was more about a section of his life where he was going for that conductor of Paris opera position

I enjoyed it as a whole tho
