hes f***ing stupid man its always some dumbass gimmick attached to the albums now he hasnt released an album normally since BTI and im honestly happy this wasnt what he thought it was gonna be. you have to commit to being a musician. you cannot use your artistic medium as a way to push your other s***

Jan 23Ron MexicoLoved everything from awaken my life and before. Past two albums just haven't really done it for me at all. I haven't kept up with him much so not sure what he has planned for the future. Seems like he's more focused on other things these days
Even though I do like a few some from the past 2, I agree with this heavily
Yeah running back the album there's a few songs I do f*** with heavy but it's so much less then the albums from awaken and before. I understand he's at a different place in his career now. Just would love one more solid album

AML was a normal rollout
He did some weird concert thing but if you ignored that he still Me and your Mama and Redbone as pre singles and did the live performances/tv interviews
Favourite part was him sneaking the cover into an episode of Atlanta that was really cool

That was one of my favorite rollouts for an album ever. He created a whole universe for his album

He did tour Awaken My Love back in 2018. He called it the This Is America tour, but it really was more for AML from a production standpoint, the setlist, and him using a band and orchestra for the show.
