I’m convinced this movie is just a high budget clapping for the wrong reasons kinda thing. It’s made to support the album story/world rather than the album being a ‘soundtrack’ in the regular sense

yeah basically it’s like the screenplay with bti but he actually filmed it instead of stopping at writing it, maybe he considered doing it that way first but then said f*** it I’m filming it lmao. This is what he’s been building towards all along. Huge moment for his career and to make it the final album is fitting but bittersweet, unless he starts his career as Donald Glover expeditiously
