Atlanta + such a strong discog with BTI, STN MTN/Kauai, AML, Atavista, and now this
He really hasn't missed this past decade or so even if it doesn't translate commercially every time
no excuses middle section instruments just stoopid majestic s***
soon as the sax came in thought i had The Best of Sade on for a sec
There’s a few moments on here that I feel like he went too far for the sake of going too far, but I really like it so far.
It might be my favorite Gambino listen since BTI.
Like “Got To Be” is fire, but there’s a moment in the song where I’m like “Alright time to reel it back in”, and he does but it does take away from the overall enjoyability a bit.
my only gripe with bino in recent years is his lyrics have become so stale and surface level
the drake influence is undeniable on the raps though lol
yoshinoya and talk my s*** def heard it a lil but im fw it
almost seems like he’s mocking him a lil

i liked most of the songs but this is not an enjoyable listen front to back by any means. also the movie clips make this s*** feel cheap

That's crazy cause I enjoyed the f*** out of it front to back. Somewhat agree with the movie clips though. But I do enjoy the lines that are used as samples in the songs themselves. Cool touch.
