that being said i'm sure a traditional rollout in March 2020 made no sense to him at the time & yeah I kinda get it cause nothing made sense then.
All the leaks from the 2018 version of the album have me convinced that he worsened the s*** on purpose lol
Is there a thread on here where I can find them? Or could someone PM me links?
There's no way you guys can defend the timestamp titles Of course people will remember songs better if they know the titles, come on now. I'd remember Vibrate a lot better than 12.38. That whole release was just a fumble, the blank white album cover instead of one of these drawings
F*** this thread.

True. I feel like these days people think liking an artist means you gotta think everything they do is genius s*** but that ain’t it. Last album was a fumble . It had some great moments but it missed the mark. Felt like a concept that wasn’t fully realized. Only reason some of y’all think it’s the best one was because he said he thought it was his best work.
Imo BTI is still the move till this day. The feeling it captures made it stand on its own. He did a great job with that s***.
I listened to it, still remember the day the website with it playing on loop was posted on here. Album has some good songs but I'm usually skipping most of it tbh Definitely not his best imo
Album just didn't reach the potential it could have imo. I don't fw probably half the tracks. But with the album and song titles, blank cover and looping the album on a website before it released, it just feels like the album never had a chance even if I enjoyed the actual music more. And some of that is due to Donald's own choices
It's especially disappointing when you see what he did with BTI, we all know he can do an impressive rollout
if you read the thread you can see i actually listened to the album 4 times
the sound becomes more memorable because of the title ?
man, yes.
I def like BTI more than 3.15 and I like TPAB way more than GKMC so OP not accurate tbh
But 3.15 is great and probably my 2nd fav after BTI, def prefer to it to AML
I was with you until the AML slander
BTI>>>>>AML>>>that untitled joint
That gambino thread stimulus package paid off
Just came to post this haven't seen this many Gambino-related posts in years
12.38
19.10
24.19
47.48
my favorites
whole album is a cohesive experience though
Like look at this. Imagine you ask someone their favorite songs and they tell you "Fourty seven Fourty eight and Twenty four Nineteen by Childish Gambino"
I'm not exaggerating when I say that I think some of the songs off Untitled Unmastered would be more highly regarded in Kendrick's discography if they had actual titles. Untitled 1, 2, 3, 5 all fire but people tend to forget the music on there. It could be because it's TPAB leftovers but I think the titles not being unique is also partly to blame

lets keep it alive

Oh for sure, I’ve been saying this for years
