I think the majority of people were fine with him cancelling the tour back when he initially announced that he was hospitalized and had to get surgery.

People started to get annoyed/confused when he went completely dark on just about everything else despite starting up the Gilga Radio livestreams which was planned to be a means to keep fans updated.

Plans change of course so that's whatever. But with how sporadic the streams became, and that recent episode which was just a hodge podge of nonsense conspiracy theory clips thrown together with no rhyme or reason when he gotta whole movie that's still up in the air... pretty understandable why fans stopped waiting up for anything.
