In the past 2 years, CHIMP1 has started to use the N-word in his songs. This has been a very controversial move that has led several KTT2 users to boycott his music entirely. CHIMP1's team (@Uptownflava) has defended his decision based on the fact that he is Latino, and that other white-passing Latinos like Fat Joe and Pitbull use the N-word in their songs without any controversy.
That's one thing.
More recently, CHIMP1 has been releasing promo videos for his music that are re-cut from black rappers' music videos. He's basically editing the videos so it looks like they are rapping his songs.

This is really weird to me. Obviously nobody remotely clued in to hip-hop would actually confuse CHIMP1 for DJ Paul or Bun B, but when you repeatedly use black rappers as an avatar while keeping your actual face under wraps, it reads to me like you are trying to pass yourself off as black.
