The argument fails for two reasons
1. China has a much larger population than Yemen and Myanmar so there are more victims, making this seem like a bigger issue (not to discount what others are going through)
2. You didn’t call them out simply for not posting about Uighur mistreatment, but for caring more about the name of communism being defamed or the west being trusted in a thread specifically about Uighur mistreatment. It’s the equivalent of going in a police brutality thread and being like “these looters are destroying everything it makes me sick” like yeah the looting of small businesses can be criticized, but why is that what you chose to speak out against rather than police actually killing people.Obviously nobody on this site is really crying over injustices anywhere, if so we’d be volunteering overseas or something and dedicating are lives to it. But if you are more moved to comment in a thread SPECIFICALLY about Uighur camps because China, or communism as a concept is attacked or because you hate how people are trusting western sources, then you shouldn’t be taking the moral high ground anywhere else
