I agree but unfortunately, she listened to shea butter Twitter who told her that her sister was holding her back and she'd have a successful solo career simply because they said she was thicker/sexier.

Her and her sister were just starting to make real strides as a duo and then they split and nothing has been the same since then.

That and Tinashe has several legit enjoyable bops in her discography that unfortunately just didn't take off. Chloë's solo songs so far are all terrible.

Also, Tinashe has an insane work ethic (she's 30 years old with 5 studio albums, 4 mixtapes and 1 EP to her name and that's despite the months/years she couldn't drop music because she was being held by her label. Her sexual confidence doesn't seem forced and she's a much better performer than Chloë.

It's clear that Chloë simply isn't ready to be a solo artist but at least she has an album coming out. Don't even get me started on Normani.

Bro the potential that her and her sister had shown on Ungodly Hour and The Kids Are Alright plays a part into why people are emotionally invested. The production and songwriting was so top notch from Chloe and her sister that it started to place heavy expectations.

Then the fact that she tries to change up her image and sound so fast after the success of the Buss It Challenge and Have Mercy instead of trying to make a smooth transition from the CxH phase plays a huge part to the hate she gets today.

Her and her team failed to do that, because now the GP keeps lighting her ass on fire for any move she makes (Working with CB, doing a s***scene, her solo music).

Plus I can't blame the GP for being disappointed with the direction of her music when you come off making great songs like "Forgive Me", Tipsy, Wonder What She Thinks of Me, Without Me, Cool People, then end up making generic s*** like Have Mercy and Treat Me.
