Why does CB communicate this less prior to a single release? He only put put one video about the new song, thats it. Could’ve been way more in my opinion….

I dont think the artwork is official its probably fan made. As for the song the snippet has admittedly grown on me a bit, but I really hope hes singing on here and not just rapping, or like "talk singing or whatever lol. We'll see tonight. Also hope the rollout isnt super long going into the summer. Hopefully we get the album by no latee than March, sooner if we're lucky

How is the song? Is it good or a disappointment?

Only heard some bits of it and I don't know how to feel about it. I mean it doesn't sound bad but at the same time it's kinda forgettable. Let's see tho, I might change my opinion once the full version is out.
Some of the snippets we've heard are way better but at the same time they aren't 'single material', so he has to go with something that can be a banger. Just don't think this will be the one

Admittedly the chorus or hook is kinda different but it still the same ol money cars hoes CB that we come to expect. I know that's obligatory for a CB album. Man I take back any minor praise I had. Song lame and generic asf lol. Almost 3 years since indigo and this us what he drops man. Some of the features hes been on over the past several months sound better than this. He trying to get another Loyal type hit lol with the cant trust these hoes type song but this nowhere near as catchy as that was.

On second thought Loyal was ass to a lot of us too when 8t dropped and it grew on us over time. Maybe this will too, or maybe it sounds better in context of the album. We'll see I guess

Finally heard the full version and man it's worse than I originally thought. He's so bad at picking singles man. I won't say it's his worst single cuz Wobble Up exists.. This won't be a hit, it will most likely perform badly.

Listen to Dawn by Weeknd or even AH. I know they are 2 different artists but I wish CB would get inspired by some other peers of his and hook up with some innovative producers and better writers. I know the album will have songs I like on it but his single selection be terrible lol with some exceptions of course

Song has actually grown on me already. It’s fit for the radio. I feel like Chris’s substance songs wouldn’t get as much airplay. And he seems a little scared to experiment. Either that or he doesn’t branch out to many different producers.

Yeah, the songs with substance don't do well as singles. We saw how Back To Love flopped despite the song being really good. So I fully understand why he's going for this type of sound. But man he is able to create hit type of songs that are much better than this one.
