if Chris really committed to a concise straight up R&B record it would blow these other niggas out the water. we already know he got melodies for days and vocally there's only a couple niggas in his class that's touching him, Miguel being the first. the content/lyrics and sometimes production is what gets in the way. but i always check for Breezy he's simply that nigga

Just listened to the whole thing song is f***in incredible. His best rnb effort in a min..maybe I'm exaggerating but this is really good quality. Excited asf for the album now.

Funny because there has been a low quality snippet of CB and some others dancing to this that released like a year ago, but there was nothing special about it in my opinion. Goes to show hearing the full thing in its proper quality can change ones opinion lol. His best song in a min. Funny coming after Iffy

Yup the vid with Chris and Tory Lanez with two girls dancing to it. I actually loved that snippet and I had to get used to the song being in a more slow tempo on the CDQ cuz I imagined it differently based on the snippet lol. But I'm really happy about this release, super song. The only little problem is that the song won't do any numbers since R&B is kind of dead for the new generation, but oh well in the end it's the music that matters.
Warm Embrace is like 10.000 times better than Iffy

Agree about the charts...in all likelyhood wont chart, but I'm not gonna chalk it up to being because its rnb neccesarily..some rnb songs still chart high..Leave The Door Open went number 1, even CB own Go Crazy, while not really traditional rnb I guess, charted well too. I definitely agree about rnb not being the most popular amongst the masses these days but I still think if a song is good enough it can still do decent on the charts. Time will tell I guess. Song just has to really be good lol. I want this to do well though man. I think Back To Sleep might be his last true rnb song that charted fairly well..this reminds of that song as well.

Album announced for summer. I'm gonna guess June 17th. Just a random guess. But I'm ready for some heat if Warm Embrace is indicative of this albums quality. Plus its supposedly only gonna be 17 tracks this time, which as we all know for CB is not a lot at all after 2 40 song + albums. Looking forward to this one for a lot of reasons. Breezys comeback and I'll be tuned in for it

Breezy is very clear of Miguel. I will say Miguel takes some more interesting risks with his music but is often hit or miss. Chris rarely misses.

You know what though I've been thinking about that, I said that but after watching the visualizer video and paying closer attention to the artwork, I can appreciate it a bit more now. Plus it has like an 80s (or just oldschool in general) vibe to it, which I think is intentional considering the song.

So yeah I like it a bit more now. Just like how the song itself didn't do anything for me when hearing the lq snippet at first. Then it grew on me too.

Exactly man. YouTube streams low, no traction on ktt besides a few of us. Sucks, no one wants to take CB serious when he finally drops some heat. This why he always reverts to dropping songs like Iffy lol, which I ironically flopped too. Imma give it more time, maybe folks will warm up to it. No pun intended
