Yeah, sucks about it probably not being a smash, but its probably true. Like I just stated above it reminds me a lot of Back To Sleep, which wasnt top 10, but like top 40 which was still pretty good. I can see it being similar to that.

Back To Sleep did very well, it reached #20 which is very good for a solo track + 2x platinum with last update being in 2019, so it might be 3x platinum now. But part of the reason why it didn't do a lil bit better was cuz the controversy about it being ''rapey'' which doesn't make sense at all but it's Breezy so his haters will be heard.

I enjoy On Some New S*** too but I don't think it would work as a single. But it sounds nice. There's also the ''say you love me and don't let go'' snippet which is fantastic. I actually think I like most of the snippets from this era so I'm excited af for the album

I'm excited for the album as well, cuz I gotta admit, I didnt think too much of the low quality snip of WE but hearing the full thing in its HQ quality from beginning to end definitely made me a fan. Now I wanna hear the rest of the songs in full the way they were meant to be heard.
