I think people just forget how young he was when he debuted. A #1 record at 15

that's f***in crazy. i legit thought he was in his mid 30's
I much prefer him to be king of the game than Drake, we know mainstream whites will never accept Breezy like they do with Drizzy and that's facts.
But everyone else will forever ride for him no lie
It's not just white people. Myself and a majority of people just ain't gon like that he beat up Rihanna and there's nothing wrong with holding that against him his whole life. That moment gave us a glimpse of who he really is.
How we feeling about Slime&B I still aint listened yet
You in for a treat
Only one miss on the whole thing. And only because E-40 f***ed it up
He’s solely responsible for the blending of Hip-Hop and R&B
Mary j blige...........
Mary j blige...........
She’s literally on record in his documentary saying he’s the one that took r&b and made it top 40/radio

chris brown made it commercial. Mary started the blending lmao.

I don’t see many Mary Blige clones. But I do see Ella Mai, Summer Walker, Zayn, Bieber, etc. that’s influence

yeah but r&b artists took from mary when they were making hip hop soul. example: aaliyah. Without mary you wouldn't see that blend and you wouldnt see as many rnb acts working with rappers.
Mans is probably top 3 hated people on social media yet huge and still has hits worldwide. Love every album and mixtape that he has made. Hope the next one is a little more condensed and less about d**** and f***ing girls in the club tho.

ur white bro lmfao
I just want to see a mature Chris Brown...never felt it at all. I just want to see a COMPLETE 180 degree change. He’s gotta flip the script on others somehow.
I think the reason why he doesn’t get his fair due is because he hasn’t been groundbreaking in terms of talent, we’ve seen MJ then Usher come before him but Chris Brown is a legend in his own right. I think he’ll be more appreciated when he retires
He's influenced every male R&B artist since the early 2010s, really. It's just that none of them have had the impact he has on R&B.
15 years later and with an undeniable catalog, has Chris achieved basically all there is to achieve in music? Depending on your bias, he is arguably the greatest living live entertainer and is easily the most talented dancer since MJ. Fresh off a #1 album he just dropped one of the best collaborative mixtapes we’ve ever seen. Hate him or love him, you gotta respect his consistency and raw ability.
Happy 31st birthday to Breezy. Looking forward to another 10 years of him out-charting your favorites.
Wtf he's just 31
