Don’t think he was “grooming” or abusing anybody. But I think he was definitely knowingly trying to find high school girls who were down to f*** him. Creepy predator s***, but gray area legally cause the girls were all 16-18 iirc. And it was never proven he actually met up with any of them, or even if he knew their age.

Idk what else people want beyond the irreparable damage thats already been done to his career. Dude’s done outside of his podcast.

Age of consent varies from 16 to 18 in the US no? I guess it would’ve depended on where he was at if he was actually trying to meet up with the girls

He has the largest podcast in the world with hundreds of millions of listeners. With an audience that large he does hold some responsibility. He can't hide behind the "I don't know anything" stance like his voice isn't reaching the ears of an insane amount of people.

Getting drunk and rattling off alt right conspiracy theories a few days before the election isn't a joke or a mistake, it's an incredibly irresponsible and dangerous thing for him to do. Also it's been well documented that those types of "jokes" are a direct gateway for people to fall into the alt right. Just look up "alt right pipeline" and you'll find plenty of videos and articles.

It's fine for Joe to have conservatives on his show. But he doesn't just have conservatives on, he has far right conspiracy theorists on. Dangerous people who are actively lying and preying on angry young white men. He literally had the founder of proud boys on a few years ago and they laughed and joked about it and it made it sound like a fun group to be a part of. Joe doesn't challenge these people or their ideas. He allows them to freely spread their bullshit dangerous rhetoric.

Just a month ago Trump and the entire conservative party lied the American public and said that the democrats cheated and stole the election, resulting in people storming the capital. How can you say people are generally smart enough to figure out what's bullshit?

It's fine for Joe to cheer for Trump. If Joe wants to be a conservative, he can be that, I'm not saying he's bad for that. The problem is that he claims to be a liberal, that's where the grift comes in. He'll never come out and say he wanted Trump to win the election or that he believes the election was stolen. Instead next time he gets in hot water he'll claim to be a liberal because he's pro gay marriage and pro weed. But he'll continue to use his platform to uplift and spread alt right voices and ideas while doing very little to spread the voices and ideas of the group he claims to be a part of.
