"When people are empty of Christ, a thousand and one other things come and fill them up: jealousies, hatreds, boredom, melancholy, resentment, a wordly outlook, wordly pleasures. Try to fill your soul with Christ so that it's not empty." - St. Porphyrios

First time around I went all out and almost got sick
Second time I just went with the flow and ate whatever was convenient at the time
Gonna keep going up with the flow

I feel it! Back in October, I fasted and began to read Ecclesiastes.. then I stumbled on Ecc 7:7 where it says "Surely oppression makes a wise man mad"

That verse has been echoed multiple times but it never registered. Dude, reading it that evening, there was such a huge relief/yoke I felt Jesus remove.

Then I read Isaiah 58 (talks about the process of fasting) and then Acts 10:38. Man, by time I read Acts 10:38, I realized that it's Our Messiah who fights for us during our time in fasting.

Pertaining to Isaiah 58:6, where it says
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

It really tied into that evening what God has in store for all of us. To break every yoke of iron, physical and spiritual. All thru Christ.

    Acts 10:38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Bro, when I finally read Acts 10:38 dude, His word really became even truer than before. I love how there's no limits to understanding. God Bless you for putting out the notice to Fast and please let's continue this!

The Gospels are no joke. Words of the wisest man that ever lived. So much to unpack.

I didn't know until last month that The Book Of John is very prophetic and precepts with the Book of Revelation (John 7&8 = Rev 20, The Millennial Kingdom, Feast of Tabernacles = Zechariah 14) The True Vine passage in J 15 is in reference to Revelation as well, you'll see it when ya get there.

Some of Christs Parables ie Sheep and Goats (Matt 25:31-46) are pertaining to the authorship of His Priesthood during the 2nd Coming. Leviticus 24 about how the Priests separated the Sheep and Goats on the Day of Atonement (We call that the tribulation period), Jesus will do the same . The Sheep represents Israel/Christians and the Goats represents those that take the Mark of the Beast, Luciferians, etc.

Just continue to let Christ mold you with His teachings. If anything stumbles you w/the Apostle Paul, just know there are precepts written in the Bible that he references. The same goes with Revelation, as Rev is essentially a College Final where we cite everything we know about the Scriptures, History etc. to gain greater understanding.

A great resource is Blue Letter Bible. it has the Hebrew and Greek concordance for every word. It really helps with the NT. Type in said verse or chapter, hit the tools feature on the left of the verse and have at it.

I did struggle with Paul when I was dabbling in Corinthians, whole time I was thinking what gave Paul authority to make these statements then I had to start from the beginning

    Any verse in particular?

Yea lol that authorship is probably Paul's Benjaminite heritage kickin in! (Romans 9) Ofc it's powered by the Holy Spirit and Christ ordained him as an Apostle towards the Gentiles.

Logistically, it's starting to make sense why Christ would use Paul to minister to the Gentiles. Someone who 'mastered' the law, and can use that same mindset to master the doctrine of Christ. (Philippians 3:5, Galatians 1:1)

Christ perfected his understanding of the law and gospels. Christ did the same with the 12 disciples/apostles and can do with us.

There's also the Hasmonean Dynasty or Maccabean Revolt that brings light to Paul's teaching as well. Especially the circumcision and uncircumcision. If ya have time, I recommend reading at least the 1st Chapter of Maccabees. It really clears up a lotta doctrinale questions and also shows a larger purpose Paul has in his ministry.

I've always wondered, what does the bible say about extraterrestrial life? This has always been my biggest problem with any religion because they are all founded (at least to my knowledge) on the idea that human beings are at the centre of the universe. Let's say an alien just lands on earth today, then what, how does that not invalidate all religious texts?

Please, I really hope my questions doesn't come off as offensive cause I'm genuinely curious.

It was Paul speaking on marriage and adulatory. At the time I was unaware of the context of who Paul/Saul was.

Fun topic! Yea UFOs are all around the bible. They're heavenly ships or vehicles.

    Matthew 24:30

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

In the bible, Chariots are known as two types of vehicles: the ones we drive, (Ancient and modern cars) and the ones the Angels (Aliens) drive (UFOs) in biblical slang, sometimes the Angelic Chariots (Aliens and UFOs) are called "Clouds" and "Wheels" view Ezekiel's wheel. Clouds was noted above in the intro verse. The term cloud is also used during the Exodus story. When God was in a Pillar of a Cloud by day and Fire by night to guide Israel thru the exodus.

You can use this right here, it's the biblical greek word for cloud it'll provide every time RIghteous Biblical UFO is mentioned. Note in the definition, how the Exodus cloud is referenced as the main source definition

    Below is an explanation...

    Psalm 104:3

3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind...

Upon Jesus' Resurrection was taken in a heavenly chariot. Then 2 Angels appeared to the disciples to explain what just happened.

    Acts 1:9-11
9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud (Chariot) received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Here's that process explained by Paul

    1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the CLOUDS, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Also, not every UFO we see is of God.
