I’ve been wanting to read the Bible but don’t know where to start, I was suggested today to start with Luke before I read Genesis? Does that sound right?
On p. 75, I asked the same question.
Starting with the Gospels and then moving on from there in whatever direction was suggested to me.
Looking for a plan as well, but starting with Matthew at the moment
The gospels of matthew mark luke and john is a good starting point.

I recently started it from the beginning but why start later? Is there a problem with starting from the beginning?

No problem, it's just that if you want to go the the main point you start with the gospel. The old testament is basically a foreshadowing of why Jesus had to come.
Start with the gospels. Matthew Mark Luke and John
Appreciate it bro, any advice on what version to read?

Dope, what version are you reading? I was just planning on using the Bible app
@SeattleZ12
Just don't use the message translation.

I’m using the New International Version, since it’s easy for me to read compared to the King James one

And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.
1 John 5:20
I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
1 John 5:13
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning.
I say this because many deceivers have gone out into the world. They deny that Jesus Christ came in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward.
2 John 1:6-8
A Prayer of Praise
Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
Jude 1:24-25
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!
John 14:12-14
God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
1 John 4:9-10
