Do they mention the second law of thermodynamics
I feel like there was some jokey line in there about it
Some of the dialogue is hard to hear at times though so I can’t say either way
Im also from australia so gotta ask u this
Did you find it hard to hear dialogue at times? Think my cinema mightve had funky audio tuning though the base seemed way too high
Yea the dialogue was f***ing hard to hear sometimes lol
Sound design was amazing but yea there were times when it was just brutal
Ppl say this but Interstellar, Dunkirk TDK, TDKR are some of the most emotional films to come out of Hollywood these past 15 years
Everyone called Endgame emotional but s*** was disingenuous and fake to me
You just got a heart of ice
Why do all of Nolan's films have such out of wack audio, is it cause they're intended to sound better in theaters/big speakers?
leave it up to travis to ruin what could've been a godly trailer ffs
who the hell thought it was a good idea to put that song in there.

Just look at the international one, lol.

Our puny home speakers can’t handle a Nolan film

People saying Nolan movies lack emotional resonance clearly don’t know what they’re talking about.

Dunkirk is so good man
Still shocks me that the Nolan film I was least excited to see when it was first announced ended up being probably the most flawless film he's made so far. (It's not my favorite of his, but I'd be lying if I could confidently say any other film he made is more impressive/flawless).

This scene was the one that really shook me when I saw it the first time
Very. Different concept but very similar in a lot of respects.
I didn’t feel like there were any set ups that didn’t go anywhere. I’d argue a flaw was that there wasn’t enough set up and too much go go go
Honestly not that I can think of. Just watch as intently as possible start to finish
1. memento
2. Inception
3. The prestige
4. tenet
5. Interstellar
6. Dunkirk
Ignoring the Batman films and I haven’t seen Insomnia
Thank you bro
Inception one of my fav movies of all time and my fav Nolan movie as well
From what i've been hearing people say it sounds like i'm really gonna love this one
Last question elaborating on my first one: what does this movie do better in regards to Inception and what point is worse compared to Inception?

I think it has to do with the way it’s shot. IMAX cameras are very loud, maybe that’s why the score gets volumed up to offset the noise. Could somebody who has seen the movie already tell if those scenes, where the dialogue was hard to understand, were shot on IMAX?

i'm pretty sure scenes with more dialogue were shot on the new arri 65mm which is quiet enough
I like it when Nolans keeps the action sequences rather lowkey and lets his concepts shine (i didn't like Dunkirk because it lacked an ambitious underlying intellectual game. The different petspectives felt unnecessarily convoluted while not being able to connect to a less superficial allegory than "war is confusing morally and sensory"). Are there as many action scenes as in Inception? If yes, how do they compare (Imo Inception has super generic scenes as well as pretty great ones.).

uhhhh hard to think off the top of my head
probably similar amounts and I would say a mix
there are some fantastic action scenes but there are a couple of weird ones
Thank you bro

emotional stuff is much worse than Inception
I think the concept is better realized and less confusing though. cooler concept too
visuals and soundtracks/sound design is comparable between them too both are unreal
the dialogue is an intentional decision I can tell you that
the times when its hard to hear it its always because of other sound being purposefully loud
idk the reason for it but its intentional

felt so out of place man
