I haven't personally gone to a traditional theater, my main question is what's the risk of one catching it while sitting in a closed air space for 3 hours while wearing a mask the entire time. Like if I go in a few weeks when theaters open up with an N95 on and a cloth mask on top, wearing gloves, sitting in the back, not eating etc. is there a better chance of me being okay after or getting sick. This is likely one of if not the only movie I see in traditional theaters for the rest of the year.
Your chances of catching it are pretty slim. Don’t bother w gloves, you don’t need them. Just sanitize you’re hands after and don’t touch your face while you’re there. N95 you’re referring to isn’t a real n95. It helps you from spreading the virus to other but won’t protect you. Don’t need an extra cloth on top of it tbh.
Your highest chances of catching it are the close contact and running into people while buying tickets and moving in n out the theatre. Stay away from people and you should be okay. Sitting in the back helps since any droplets in the air fall downwards so you’re at the top and behind ppl
I could understand most of what was happening but Inception is so much more cohesive
If you watch Tenet as an action movie with some interesting ideas then it's a great film, and i did really enjoy it
But it doesn't match Inception. Inception wasn't difficult at all. Tenet was a lot more sloppy in execution of it's ideas. Doesn't help that the scope of it all was bigger than Inception was
Ok cool but you didn’t answer my question
It didn’t work for me FFS
What happened?
Was the audio that bad?

Good tips, I appreciate it

Yo no need to give me an additude
Its not that difficult to understand, they throw in some scientific terms that i didnt know of but if u pay attention you'll get it. Also yes its very layered

No the closed captioning device never worked lol
I loved the movie, understood 60-70% of dialogue, I had very low expectations so was thrilled
I didn't understand a word in the opening scene (I was also flustered by the CC device not working) -- which sucks. Other than that the other main scenes were those that everyone must've been lost in (boat, phone call whisper, etc.)
Whats with everyonr complaining about the sound? I had no issues hearing the dialogue
Just got out of the theatre, did not like it
I really liked it as an experience but i dont wanna go see it a second time because im scared i will already like it a lot less on a 2nd viewing
Just cant help but keep thinking that i enjoyed it a lot, but it was basicly a worse Inception with less emotional impact and too much cliche moments and dialogue
Ive mentioned it before but Tenet has the exact same flaws as TDKR, being overly ambitious and Nolan not being able to execute it as amazingly as his best films
But as a sidenote id like to say that this would be a lot of directors' greatest work, its just that Nolan did this type of film better before. It really showed that he was working on Inception for 10 years, everything in that film just works better
My rating for tenet will probably drop to an 8/10, have it at a 9/10 for now because it did really entertain me when i saw it

I understand your perspective, Nolan has films that are similar and so in comparison it falls short.
I felt as though there was a lack of substance in the dialogue and that it was too obscure. The characters had a lack of depth I couldn’t attach myself to any of them, I don’t know if this was the point. I’m still trying to figure out what this film is trying to convey. But even saying that, usually I want to dig deeper after Nolan films but I have no desire this time round. Still a big fan, and always will be I think
Edit: nah I’m still gonna be in the rabbit hole on reddit for this lol
i liked it, the worst part is definitely some of the acting and the audio editing

a lot of the audio took away from dialogue and stuff, music was intense for no reason at times & yes the acting was mediocre

The more I think about the plot, the less I like it. I don’t think people are going to discuss the movie in depth because of how flawed it is from a script stand point. The discussion is mainly going to be about the spectacle

What kind of theater did you see it in?
Based on the reviews I'd rather watch this when I can rewind or fast forward
would probably make it even more confusing for u lol
they editted the movie in a specific way, watch it the way it was meant to
on rewatch go wild
You‘ll never forget that experience, I promise.
YOU WERENT F***ING WRONG HOLY S*** WHAT THE F*** WAS THAT
Incredible movie
Built to be seen in IMAX
My fav Nolan film by far, way more interesting then inception. And the action felt so fresh and new
wasn't convinced during the first half, but the film won me during the second half
the film has some major flaws but also some mindblowing moments
Don't watch the Final Trailer btw
