Tenet has no emotional depth.
Sound mixing was bad in theaters, might be fixed now on digital releases
Very cheesy/corny/cliche dialogue sprinkled throughout
Not really a spy movie at all, although technically this isn’t a bad thing but apparently it was supposed to be his take on spy film
Other than that tho it’s pretty good but those are big things
Spy is a wide term that’s not only unique to “espionage” (although that’s the most common).
The protagonist in Tenet was a “spy”, as he was acting as an “agent” undercover for the organization. “Spy” just doesn’t only mean reconnaissance.
Somebody who infiltrates a base, destabilizes governments, incites riots, assassinates targets, etc could be considered a “spy”.
Critic and Audience reviews all say TDKR is a better film than Tenet
Most people would agree with this take
You're tripping. It's comically bad.

Reviews aren't always right (and certainly not audience reviews)
TDKR has better reviews than Interstellar and The Prestige and there's no way in hell it's a better movie than those two
it's not like time has been kind to it either, these days whenever critics or publications do Nolan rankings it's pretty consistently ranked at the bottom, and for good reason
You're tripping. It's comically bad.
embarrassing third act, you can tell Nolan didn't even want to make it in the first place
even when his scripts are messy Nolan always directs the hell out of his movies (besides him not really having fully figured out how to do action until Dunkirk) but on TDKR he was completely checked out
not to mention that s*** is essentially a Blue Lives Matter movie which really does not hold up today lmao
When you realisw how many flaws and loopholes tdkr has,its instantly woat
Name some loopholes
You niggas watch comic book movies with the strangest expectations
I really thought about this after seeing some comments about army of the dead. Niggas really mad that omar walked in an atomic fallout but f***ing robot zombies is realistic?!?

I get that this is a superhero movie, but its supposed to be a grounded approach, the whole movie is f***ing lazy lmfao
-bane keeps motorcycles in the stock exchange building and nobody bats an eye, robs the place in the middle of the day, suddenly it turns to night as hes driving
-bane breaks him in half in the first fight, but in the end batman somehow beats him(literally does a few push ups to train or some s***,and he just punches harder and beats the guy who broke him in half)
-bruce has part of his spinal chord poking out of his skin, gets it punched a few times, makes a couple of pushups and he is brand new
-every single cop in the city for some reason goes into the sewers(this literally has never and will never happen),probably the worst part of the movie
-catwoman and robin writing is so f***ing lazy too
-Gordon got shot to death, literally the dude was barely alive and the next day hes hanging outside of the truck like some acrobat lmfao
Taken from this LB review,if you actually have like 5 minutes to read it in full, its explained in more detail

Damn I never thought about these plot points. Opens my eyes a little
Always did think it was weird that the chase went from day to night though even as a kid lol
Thank ya. Maybe this might change my mind on tkdr > tkd

You’re an idiot for that last sentence

not really TDKR has some pretty terrible politics even by big budget blockbuster standards lol

Not really. It’s a superhero movie. Stop adding 2021 s***ty politics to a movie that is about a man who wears black tights

except it’s a movie that very actively tries to make political commentary lmao
Nolan himself even said the movie was inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement
I don’t think he meant anything insidious by it but those themes fall flat on its face and really have not helped the movie age well at all

you cant use today's climate to judge yesterday's actions.

I mean yes and no
you can acknowledge that certain messaging is a product of it’s time while also acknowledging that that messaging has not aged well and works to the movie’s detriment in the current day

if you complain about older movies, regarding todays agenda...i'd prefer never speaking to you.

it’s not about any agenda lmfao if a movie makes political commentary it’s fair game to judge how that has held up over the years and ultimately whether or not the movie has stood the test of time
plenty of movies that are decades old make political and social commentary that still holds up to this day
