every single video I've watched trying to explain this only adds to my confusion....remember watching one for the airport scene and at one point three Neil's were present and I just closed the tab and accepted I'll never understand the time aspect of this film
mad ambitious though definitely top 3 nolan

The most important scene in the film is the conversation between Neil Kay and Protag in the ambulance, at the freeport about the intricacies of energy and time travel. The future is luanching a war against the past (using Sator as proxy) because in the future the Earth is dying due to climate change. The future cannot kill those responsible for Earth demise without affecting the futures present (grandfather paradox). The turnstiles invert people and objects, allowing them to operate against time. The algorithm would reverse time altogether. The future needs the algorithm to undo climate change, Sator wants to algorithm to destroy the universe.
The Neil we see throughout the film is from the future. He know everything that will happen, only he cannot explain this to protag for fears protag will alter his behavior and outcomes if their operations. Protag is operating slightly in the past until the end of the film. The film is one big pincer operation, within a
pincher operation all to retrieve the algorithm before Sator.
After about six viewings this is how I understood the film. I could be wrong tho.
Lmfao the theater from this meme is the theater I saw it at
@ChrisNolan where’s the pre-sequel
imagine getting exposed like this.
This is gonna be considered one of Nolan’s best when it’s all said and done. By far his most ambitious and innovative
The music in this is MONSTROUS
I never thought anyone could come close to matching Zimmer but my god Ludwig went crazy
