i mean i guess so, but why i would not watch john wick, would be because there is no attachment to the villain, and for any character thats not john. maybe im the fool for watching most of the marvel films, but by default, i grew to care about those characters, and they were more enjoyable for me to watch. the spectacle of it all was more enjoyable to me. fyi i would watch both movies and take both for what they are worth.
I loved a number of these characters growing up
The MCU made me fall out of love for them because all those movies were so horrible

No but it is similar to Innaritu trying to make you feel for Leo by making him grunt and dribble around for 2.5 hours or make you think Birdman is deep Cuz there’s a bunch of unnecessary long takes and inserting a boring critic trope character to feel better about himself
