Not saying the teaser music is bad, just it doesn’t hold a candle to Interstellar, Inception, Dunkirk or the Batman movies

hopefully Ludwig proves me wrong but Interstellar is literally one of the greatest film scores oat and I knew it the moment I saw the theme play in the teaser.

S*** sounds amazing to me ngl, reminds me of TDKR except with scifi elements infused in it

The great thing about Nolans scores are historically they have been the trendsetters for Hollywood scores, most of which are heavily reductive and derivative of other scores (even the ones that get nominated for Best Score are normally so tired and dull - Alexandre Desplat is one of the biggest hacks to ever compose a films score for example)

Inceptions score p much set the blueprint for every blockbuster this decade and Interstellar is also doing the same thing for so many other outlets (literally saw an ad yesterday which heavily lifted the theme of that film lmao) I will admit Dunkirks score isn’t trendsetting but it was used so magnificently that it became unique in its own way as well.

The teaser for Tenet just doesn’t really have that uniqueness to it musically. It feels like a more percussion heavy version of generic trailer music. It’s not bad, but it’s only slightly above average for your typical Hollywood blockbuster

If Venom and The Mandalorian are any indication I think we're gonna get something very unique and innovative
