Seeing the prologue after a***yzing the bootleg and being able to understand every line

The prologue alone is so hype and intense, just imagine how insane it’s gonna be when we see that 747 get crashed into that airport :damn:

Curious to see how this will do box office wise. I hope it breaks a billi.

If any of Nolan’s previous numbers are anything to go by this is sure to make a lot of money, and given the budget to this film I think it’s fair to say it will be one of his highest grossing films, Warner Bros is gonna push this movie really hard as it’s their big summer blockbuster. A billion is a very high goal, I think it’ll make around $800 million though, somewhere around what Inception made.

I think WB are definitely banking on it to hit a billi with that budget

Before, and they’re only showing it with IMAX screenings of Star Wars, if you have a IMAX theater nearby just give them a call and ask if they’re showing it

I arrived early but they didn’t start playing it until the normal pre-show trailers start playing. My showing was at 10:45pm and the prologue probably started around 10:55pm so I’d say just arrive a few minutes before the movies start time.

Need to know what the deal with the breathing masks is... will it be related to the people that are able to manipulate time?

I think it allows whoever to be unaffected by it. In the shot in the trailer where the ships are going backwards, JDW is doing pull-ups on the boat wearing a gas-mask (most likely practicing moving in a reversing world). Additionally in the prologue JDW is unaffected by the other SWAT guy reversing the bullet.
