I feel like by then maybe and I say MAYBE some theaters will be open, but will only allow 10 -15% occupancy

There’s only gonna be this movie out there tho. He could have his film on most if not all screens at theaters and then they limit each one capacity wise

I wonder why Nolan is pushing for his movie to come out in theaters only, if they won’t be allowed to fill them up?
He's going to delay it by a few months. They've already removed July from the marketing

Highly doubt that
Think they're just being careful with it and leaving it open to change, but i dont think theyve made the decision yet
Don't think they'd drop another trailer this soon either if it was pushed to like December
Source?
We don't know what the trailer will say and every other piece of marketing recently (including updated banners/avatars) have taken out the July date.
We're looking at WW84's August spot at the earliest here.
It's been 5-6 months since the last marketing for this. They need a trailer now if it's coming anytime in the next 3-4 months.

Because there’s nothing else in theatres accept a Russel Crowe movie that’s popped up.
It’ll be able to play on way way way more screens per cinema per state in USA at once than it would’ve been able to before. Almost every screen will be playing solely this movie which may equate to making as much money, or making even more money than usual

But he is also taking a big gamble.
It could pay off by the way you just said or it could not get as much money. People might be too scared to go to the theaters in July.
Theaters would be the worst place to go to during a pandemic. After a movie finishes they quickly clean the rooms and do the bare minimum, so they would have to have so many new procedures on how these cinemas will operate.
