Bo CeephusProbably because the events of Oppenheimer actually happened and this is a fairy tale that people are getting unnecessarily upset about. Like people are mad about s*** that never even happened. At least the cyclops will be Greek
Even though it is a fairy tale, it is a historical fiction in regards that it uses real places and references real people. There is a clear subversion here. He's choosing to go with diverse casting and not using older language that matches the poem. I'm not bothered by it like others but I'm curious about what his reasoning was behind it
