Just returned from the movie
Couple of things:
No oscar for actor performances will be given to this movie. I think it is fair to say that everything falls a bit flat? Not one person delivered a memorable scene to me. I am not sure the actors are to blame as to the way the movie is directed or written. But.. yeah, kinda sad.
Soundtrack is.. at times a bit odd? I think there is a tenet inspired build up at times which does not fit this movie at all imo. Other times it’s great, but not something I would consider a classic.
There are some visually stunning scenes which impress and will stick with you. It’s Nolan, hard not to expect this.
The movie provides a nice climax in a very positive way story wise and very.. mmm Nolan esque action meh way.
Dialogue is not.. impressive, but without having read the book, I can’t judge I guess. I expected more.
I was never bored and was engaged for 3 hours. That is impressive. But with the gripes above.. I’m not sure what to think really
7,5/10 for now.
What would be your top 3 Nolan films? And where do you think you’d rank this one?

I've always struggled with epic poetry. I've attempted Paradise Lost twice and always pass away before the end of the second book
