I think that's why he was perfectly cast in this
When Nolan casts him as Shinji in his live-action Evangelion adaptation
Bernthal definitely was the weakest in this.
should’ve been Christian bale lowkey

I thought Jon was good but this def would’ve been peak too

Yea by the end I thought Tom was actually perfect for the role
Let me start with my experience first. The two guys beside kept whispering throwing the dune trailer (no preview unfortunately I was holding out remote hope). I was a little worried about their whispering. They kept it up a little through the first bit. Then they shut the hell up at the Polyphemus scene. Secondly and more annoyingly, this guy about four rows to my right kept leaning forward every 2 minutes. The disturbance to my peripheral vision was destroying my immersion. He finally settled down during the Scylla and carbydis scene.
The opening sequence of the horse and Sinon was great. I can’t do a scene by scene breakdown in order and that’d be too much so I’ll go by Acts and themes. Act I I can understand how people felt it was weak. It doesnt orient the viewer from the jump. I don’t mind it at all but I can see why it would bother people. Anne Hathaway already acting her ass off.

Udvar is the best f***ing theater in the world. I’ve been here close to 7-8 times and it’s so goated. The seats are only as wide as the screen. So you’re in a box. You never outstrip the screen so someone the end is never full off the screen. Makes it super immersive.
1.43 GT LASER!!!!

The dude in your Avi about to pan the s*** out of this
just finished watching the movie
i went in kinda blind watching it because i only saw the trailer for it a while back with nothing else informing me about it
i honestly thought it was gonna be some artsy super kino s*** but it had really good action and i liked the movie a lot
ngl a thought that was going through my head while watching it is that Sony should get Christopher Nolan to do a film adaption of God of War after this
I think it would be really damn good
yea that’s what i’m saying, the classic hero tropes and story beats in the movie probably originated from this story
