Udvar is the best f***ing theater in the world. I’ve been here close to 7-8 times and it’s so goated. The seats are only as wide as the screen. So you’re in a box. You never outstrip the screen so someone the end is never full off the screen. Makes it super immersive.
1.43 GT LASER!!!!
Airbus IMAX is a fantastic theater and screen. We were at the same screening lol. I have similar pics from a couple rows further with the guy in red shirt next to the cap
Wonder what happened to the airplane decal on the side wall though...
Yeah that was a fantastic summer blockbuster.
Ngl
This song played in my head the entire movie

Spider-Man was so good in that movie I almost forgot he’s spideman
To be fair he hasn’t been Spider-Man yet just iron boy
charlize theron would have me in a trance and forgetting my family too
Was looking into her eyes thinking the same thing.

what a world haha. did you see a blue Santa Fe with its lights on when you were walking out?
where you on the top side of the seats? I know the projection on the wall is a cool touch. Also, it didn't seem as loud as I was imagining it to be. I wonder if they turned the audio down some.
Ludwig did his thing with this one
Calypso/Agamemnon is fantastic too. This to me is his first instantly recognizable soundtrack.

Tenet and oppy go so hard too.
Not seeing until next week but lmfaooo the imax 70mm near me really sold out every showing for 4 weeks
Woke up this morning still thinking about it. How was i hype af and it still surpassed expectations. It has to be one of the greatest movies ever.
Somehow better the second time around
My god that last act
im itching for my second viewing on Tuesday
watched this in IMAX but felt like it was a 8.2/10 bottom tier Nolan.
Felt left wanting for more.
The final act was good but it didn't hit me like it was supposed.
I think I need to repeep on a tab of acid to reassess ngl
What made Charlize great? For a goddess in love with a human, she showed ZERO emotion her entire screen time
IDK but she looks fine af ngl can't believe she 50 y/o what a dime piece fr
Nah Charlize was great
The weakest performance was Zendaya by a road mile
She’s just an awful actress
Agreed I wasn't sold on Zendaya, she kinda boring ngl
this was great. loved The Odyssey as a kid and it was so cool seeing so many of the scenes that I used to be obsessed with come to life on such an epic scale
only had two issues with it. one I can't fault Nolan for at all as it was simply due to the format. it's such a long story that plots had to be rushed or didn't have time to breathe which is really unavoidable in a 3 hour film, but I still thought the pacing was excellent
the other issue I was worried with beforehand and turned out to be partly true were some of the casting choices. it's a personal thing that many agree with but I just have trouble immersing myself in the story where almost every character is a big name actor I've seen in dozens of films
I thought Damon, Hathaway, Pattison, Patel, Morton, and Leguizamo were excellent
Lupita, Zendaya, and Charlize were good
and I didn't like the performances from Holland, Page, Safdie, and Bernthal
still really enjoyed this tho, gotta do a rewatch but I'm thinking it's top 3 Nolan
I needed more aura farming from Safdie's charcter ngl like the suit and s*** was cool but I just wanted a tiny bit more action from him ngl
