The Odyssey(8.5/10)-What a thick ass, great movie. It's much darker then what's in ads, MPAA was kind of lenient on the R-Rating tbh. But epic is an understatement , I felt like the studio let Nolan do exactly what he wanted, and this was the result. No one else is making a movie like this, on this scale, with that budget and this kind of tone except Nolan.
It wasn't paced like a blockbuster at all, had an old guy in the theater walk out. This feels like the modern day version of Heavens Gate except The Odyssey is going to be a huge success.
GO SEE IT!
Thoughts on Spiderman saving Odysseus from being blipped by Thanos at the end?
S*** was cool man it was cool

What part did he walk out at?
Also travis scott being the first person we hear and see is mad funny
It works somehow
It was funny I saw some people hating on his performance
He was fantastic
There's really only one name that's worthy of the title of "worst actress in Hollywood" and she was not in this movie
Zero clue who that could be if not Zendaya
A lot of critiques of this movie I seen are such nitpicks and just untrue. Saw someone say there's no conflicts in the movie lol

Saw someone hating on this for saying they don’t let conversations breathe. Like bruh there are 20 min stretches of constant convos in this lmao
What part did he walk out at?
Goats blood scene. Older guy so, he probably thought it was demonic or whatever
Ngl though, idk how this got an R rating
There wasn’t really anything that extreme here that you wouldn’t find in TDK or Dunkirk
“All the things you wanted to be and then all the things you wished you never wished for. It was a delicious itch you want to scratch but you find it under the skin and can't reach it. So the delicious itch becomes unbearable. It told you what you most want is what you most can't have and that the most you can't have is what you already had and lost. It was a song of all the promises I failed to keep. And it told me I don't really want to go home.”

Is this a line from the actual book as well or did he make it up?

Made it up, in the book they just offered him wisdom

im guessing the back-to-back “fuck offs” in the last act
definitely felt more like a pg-13 movie
Zero clue who that could be if not Zendaya
