    for imax 70?

Dual Laser. So one of the bigger full ratio 1.43 screens out there but not a 70mm print

this was really good but Travis Scott in the opening scene honestly took me out of the immersion and i’m not sure why he was there

Anyone here seen the movie on 70mm iMax and IMAX GT, how does the laser projector in the full aspect ratio compare to the film?

Not seeing enough love for Himesh Patel tbh, I think his performance in this is super underrated

Hopefully he lands some more big roles soon

Not this particular film but I’ve seen Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm at Lincoln Square and then this in IMAX GT/dual laser.

Honestly the average person isn’t going to be able to tell the difference because of the size of screen and similar level of immersion to the full frame. They’re the same screens. I didn’t leave Oppenheimer feeling wildly different over if I saw it in dual laser.

70mm film is richer and gives you an image closer to real life, while laser is a higher contrast image without grain or flickers. 70mm will win in pure image. Dual laser wins in sound. Uses 12 channel system compared to 70mm’s 6 channel.

Someone pointed this out and its hilarious how Odysseus says "our bronze age is collapsing"

That is one line that 100% shouldve been scrapped from the script

Nolan basically said Travis is there for the modernity of today’s poets / The Bard being rappers

This must sound so deep to midwits

  • This was just ok?

Don’t really think it’s deep. It’s just Nolan giving credit to a historically disrespected art form
