it sounds finished
I feel like the majority of the time when Mac sings he does multiple layers to make it sound fuller. I could be wrong and this was just his intention for this song but I personally get the feeling that this wasn’t going to be the final vocal
pretty sure it was finished just doesn't have a lot of bass or anything lol
Maybe you’re right but see my post above. I’m just talking about the vocals
I’ve been wondering if anyone but Mac will be on this, Swimming had JID, Syd, Dev Haynes, and Snoop.
Doesn’t really matter either way but it is interesting to think about who else besides Jon worked on this

I remember Mac saying he wanted his lyrics to flow more like a conversation around this era of recording. Feel like it might be an aesthetic choice. Honestly works very well to me.
I understand why you wouldn't agree with that tho. coming off swimming where he stacked his vocals like crazy. Song works for me tho

You could be right but yeah that’s where I’m coming from, I was expecting Swimming type stacking. I guess we’ll see, from how they’re marketing it it seems like it should be a pretty complete piece of work. The song works for me too it just made me scratch my head a little in that sense
bro they’re gonna have exclusive merch @ the pop up shops in nyc/la/pittsburgh.
fuuuck i can’t wait
“ Along with the album's release, Miller's team will host three pop-up exihibitions that celebrate the rapper's work and legacy. The events will include art, exclusive merch, and front-to-back listenings of Circles. All proceeds from the merch sales will go toward The Mac Miller Fund. Fans can attend the free event from noon-9 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 18, in Los Angeles, New York, and Pittsburgh. The L.A. location will also have an invite-only soft opening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Jan. 16.”
I really like the song but the fact that it’s the single is a little concerning to me since it doesn’t seem very finished. Also with the Apple Music description saying how this shows his talent goes beyond hip hop or something, I guess that means this will have more unfinished singing ideas like this? Hoping for the best but I’m not sure what to expect
Think they might have chose it because it’s been leaked too
RIP Mac Miller, the legend.
Best post-hum song I have heard. Great wirk, although I am a bit torn about Jon Brions choices for the instruments, to much 🎻 , would had preferred synths, but great work
