So it’s this young talent in the local nyc scene I met a year or so ago named Cisco Swank who is OD just talented in a multitude of things (KILLER piano, singing, rapping, the f***ing bass, production, etc).
He dropped his debut album today and genre bending doesn’t even tell the story there aint a bag the nigga dont got imo.
It’s s*** like this that keeps a nigga inspired when imposter syndrome hits me the hardest. Especially in a time where it’s almost dystopian when it comes to how music is being given to us. Gives me hope for the future no 🧢.
Tune tf in before it’s too late.

yeah this s*** fire
You’s gon f*** wit it heavy no 🧢
After letting it sit post listen and a half, you weren’t lying about the variety. Almost every song is a wildly different genre - and a great take on each one! Throughout the ride of soundscapes, Cisco performs the Herculean feat of retaining his voice without compromise or a lack in confidence. We’re carefully eased into the bombastic swaying of sounds in the latter half of this story by the choice to balance the different subgenres in the first half with prominent jazz instrumentation. This gets us primed for only needing the familiarity with Cisco himself to stay the course of listening (along with the Jazz harmonic compositions running through every song)
Cisco’s voice is raw and beautiful at the same time, he surely knows how to record vocals as well. Every feature adds to the scope and plays their role to perfection. The instrumentation and music is full of life and surprises, and every song takes you on a new direction in its world of gritty serenity. It’s like skateboarding through a sweltering early afternoon on the busy urban concrete with a lime popsicle from a Popi shop in one hand while you listen to Coltrane in your AirPods; praying your iPhone 14 doesn’t drop out your cargo pants. This kid is going places
Fav songs off first impression: Over Now, All The Same, Changes
