Even the uk rappers that are much bigger than her and are signed to labels have trouble touring the u.s. So it doesn't matter how much hype she got, that's not some hurdle she was gonna avoid like that

ultimately its not as big of an audience as people make it out to be. even jpegmafia had to tour unis and bars before getting pitchfork gigs. all of these black midi squid type of musicians are practically invisible in the grand scheme of things. most of these dudes popping off fantano had to find their real listeners elsewhere
