I feel like that’s confused often. You can think a classic is a masterpiece but that doesn’t mean it’s not flawed it means important influential. Being a masterpiece doesn’t make something a classic

True. Graduation is a classic to me but I wouldn’t say it’s a masterpiece or perfect. It has two of my favorite Kanye songs and I have fond memories of it when it released.

To me a master piece is a work of art that’s of the highest quality

It's true that classic albums are usually great albums, but they are not all masterpieces

Also masterpiece is subjective, while classic is both objective and subjective, so you can think a classic album is bad but it's still considered classic
