I will say the one Atlanta episode with the character that was obviously mocking Chance really nailed the faux-spontaneous absurdity of the image of Chance going in the booth and recording "nah-nah-nah-nah-nah" and "IGH" and s***
but it still sounds hard 10 years later idgaf
Rip Clark County
2013 remains the greatest music year in recent memory
Way better than overrated ass 2016
I may be an old head, but am I wrong to say the era of music was supremely better than what we have now?
In my opinion I feel like the artists who were supposed to be the leaders of this next generation of hip hop all either died or got thrown in jail forever.
There’s some hot singles out there, but not a ton of great albums being put out by new artists (I'm old af and could just be missing it?).
From what I see the zoomers are just recycling tracks from 3-5 years ago and reworking old hits from previous decades.
In the year of our Lord 2023, there's no reason old man Drake should still be on top desperately trying to appeal to the youth with no competition from the zoomer generation.
And white ppl still out here consuming the same Taylor Swift album with a different name that gets put out every two years.
Yhup got me dejected.
Imagine being 28 and music peaked for you 10 years ago
