the feeling was just different when this dropped, i remember thinking this couldve been better because the leaks were so f***ing goated but idek what i was on - shouldve put vital & lie to me on it and removed that stupid ass jay verse on love all and keep the need me outro instead but besides that we got all our grails and even an improved version of not around

The “damn nigga here” album of Drake’s discography. A shame it has some legit amazing songs but a variety of things f***ed it up

A bit of head cannon but I truly believe this album was going to be his ode/love letter to hip hop initially. You take DLDT/the leaks/CLB and you can see some vision in there that would’ve curated an incredible album maybe one of his best. COVID/Kanye and some other things I’m forgetting got in the way unfortunately
